Geography – Earthquakes

For my Geography project I decided to make a website all about earthquakes. I chose to do this because:

  • It is environmentally friendly.
  • It uses a mixture of skills such as geography, ICT, History and Literacy.
  • It is easily accessible.
  • And it will help the education of others.

I enhanced my website from a variety of different sources, including:

  • Information Books
  • The Internet
  • And classwork

My main focus was getting lots of information and learning about the following subjects. I have included information on topics such as:

  • How people predict, prepare and protect
  • The moment magnitude scale
  • The primary and secondary effects
  • The five categories
  • The Richter scale
  • The tectonic plates
  • What causes an earthquake?
