ENIAC was the first electronic general-purpose digital computer. It was Turing-complete, and able to solve “a large class of numerical problems” through reprogramming.

ENIAC (which meant “Electronic Numerical Integrator And Computer”) was a computer built in 1943. It was designed by two people called John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert. ENIAC was shut down forever on October 2, 1955. Now, only about 10 panels of the 40 exist.
